A narcissistic number (or Armstrong number) in base 10 is an n-digit number that equals the sum of its digits each raised to the power n. For example, 153 = 1³ + 5³ + 3³.
Key features
- Single-digit numbers 1–9 are trivially narcissistic.
- Only 88 base-10 narcissistic numbers exist; the largest has 39 digits.
